Two Israelis mistakenly entered PA-controlled Bet Lechem on Sunday. They were taken into custody by Palestinian Authority forces and then handed over to the IDF.
In accordance to the Oslo Accords, areas under total PA control are designated as “Areas A”. Israeli law prohibits citizens from entering areas “A”, punishable under the penal law.
Since January 1, 2008, 12 Israelis have been extricated from PA autonomous areas.
Areas “B” under Oslo are under PA civil control but Israel maintains security control. Israel strongly recommends that Israelis refrain from entering those areas as well.

Were the Arabs simply doing these guys a favor by saving their lives and sending them back to Israel-proper, or is is also against Arab laws for Israelis to be in PA area-A territory?
