As far as MK Nissim Ze’ev of Shas is concerned, last week’s Jerusalem Municipal Court decision permitting the sale of chametz in Yerushalayim will not pass without a response.

Party leader Eli Yishai is already formulating a new bill which will redefine the parameters of the law, making it illegal to sell chametz in Jerusalem once again.

Although many are skeptical, Shas appears determined to change the current status before this Pesach.
