On Sunday, YWN-Israel reported that HaGaon HaRav Shlomo Ben-Shimon collapsed in his beis medrash on Shabbos and EMS was called when it was realized he was in cardiac arrest. He was listed in critical condition following resuscitation in the hospital. The tzibur was called upon to be mispallel for him.

Doctors at Tel Hashomer Hospital are reporting on Wednesday, that miraculously, the rav has opened his eyes and he is communicating with his surroundings. The doctors are calling it “a miracle”, apparently not in tune to the koach of tefilla!

The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for Yechiel Shlomo ben Yafeh Jamila bsoch cholei yisrael. The name Yechiel was added following the cardiac arrest.
