Northern district police have been working with border police to crack down on a car theft ring operated by residents of the PA (Palestinian Authority) and Israel, stealing vehicles from Afula, Yokneam, Haifa, Tivon and Megiddo and taking them to PA autonomous areas.

Police report that eleven suspects ranging in age from 18-45 are already in custody, and they are residents of Jenin in the PA as well as Nazareth in Israel and other areas.

Police used an array of means, including technological devices in tracking and apprehending suspects.
