A female motorist on Sunday afternoon, shortly after noon, sustained injuries while traveling on Route 60 a kilometer-and-a-half (almost a mile) north of Yishuv Eli when attacked by Arabs who hurled stones at her vehicle.

Route 60 is the main north/south vehicular route running through both Yehuda and Shomron.

MDA EMTs and paramedics treated the 24-year-old, who was transported to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, listed in “light to moderate” condition.

She sustained facial trauma from both the stone the pierced the vehicle’s windshield as well as from shards of glass.
