B’chasdei Hashem, a young chareidi woman who was fighting for her life due to a serious infection has awakened on Zos Chanukah, after ten days of doctors at Rehovot’s Kaplan Hospital fighting to save her.
The 32-year-old woman, a resident of Kiryat Kretchnif in Rehovot and the mother of six, who was in her 20th week of pregnancy, was admitted to an ICU and placed on a respirator due to the ferocious infection that plagued her body. It was feared that she was infected with streptococcus ‘A’, known as a ‘predatory bacteria’. There was also a possibility of an E-coli infection.
After many tears and tefilos, on Monday, Zos Chanukah, she awakened in the hospital. The family reports the tzibur should continue being mispallel for her, Alta Beila bas Bluma (אלטע ביילא בת בלומה) for a refuah shleima bsoch cholei yisrael. The name ‘Atla’ was added during her illness.
