State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss’ office is investigating allegations that some senior Israel Police appointments were made illegally, with posts given to family members of influential people.

State Comptroller officials confirm the investigation, stating a special task force has been appointed to address the allegations. Israel Police officials report that to date, no state comptroller officials have contacted them regarding the investigation.
