The IDF and border police provided security as mispallalim were permitted to visit Kever Yosef in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Shechem on Sunday night, Zos Chanukah. In addition, thousands of mispallalim visited the Ma’aras HaMachpelah in Hebron Sunday night as well.
According to military officials, soldiers provided security for mispallalim at both venues, stating there was a total of 7,500 mispallalim at both venues.
As they arrived at Kever Yosef, terrorists hurled a pipe bomb at the site. B’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries. Soldiers also had to deal with rioting and violence as Palestinians hurled stones and bottles when the mispallalim entered Shechem. Once again, there were no injuries.
IDF officials report that during the night, a total of 16 PA residents throughout Yehuda and Shomron, who are suspected in involvement in acts of terror and/or violent confrontations with security forces, were taken into custody for questioning.

Why are you afraid to mention Rabbi Eliezer Berland that he called for and led the 15,000 mispallelim at meoras hamachpela and the 35,000 more who joined through live hookup. Why do you only care to mention when he spins a dreidle and distributes menorah oil as a segulah?
