HaGaon HaRav Avigdor Nebenzahl Shlita, Rav of Jerusalem’s Old City, has spoken out against the Women of the Wall (WoW) organization, calling on the tzibur at large to protest against them at the completion of tefilla. The WoW members and supporters come to the Kosel every Rosh Chodesh for shachris.

For the past two years, Rav Nebenzahl has refrained from expressing an opinion on the matter, and now, he instructs mispallalim to protest for a few moments after they daven to fulfill one’s obligation to decry the desecration of the holy site.

The rav’s letter is addressed to persons davening neitz as well as other mispallalim at the Kosel as well.
