The storm and accompanying significant rainfall over the weekend have B”H deposited an additional centimeter of water in the Kinneret. The rainfall, which began on Thursday, has resulted in an additional four centimeters (1.5 inches) in the Kinneret as well as five centimeters of snowfall in the Golan Heights.
On Sunday, forecasters explain the storm is behind us and roads that were closed due to flooding have reopened. The Mt. Hermon ski resort, which has a thin white covering, has opened to visitors but there is not enough snow to ski at present.
Temperatures in the coming days are expected to be seasonable, and there is no rain in the forecast until Shabbos.
