The rift between the High Court of Justice and Justice Minister Daniel Friedman, who has been at odds with the nation’s highest court since assuming his senior cabinet post, continues to increase.
Former High Court President Prof. Aaron Barak joined in, criticizing Friedman and his reforms which Barak and High Court justices oppose.
Barak accuses Friedman of intentionally trying to weaken the court’s authority as he works to change the system of appointment of justices and other long-standing operational procedures.
