HaGaon HaRav Nissim Karelitz Shlita, 92, was admitted to Bnei Brak’s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital on Wednesday morning after complaining of difficulty breathing.

The rav was taken from the home of his son on Rashbam Street, transported in an intensive care unit to the hospital. The rav is now undergoing diagnostic tests to determine his medical condition.

Family members report the rav is conscious and alert, asking the tzibur to be mispallel for Shmaryahu Yosef Nissim ben Batya bsoch cholei am yisrael.
