The SOS Israel organization has announced it is awarding a NIS 1,800 prize to Rabbi Erez Bar-On for his exemplary actions earlier this week.

Rabbi Bar-On prevented the abduction of Israelis from a hitchhiking post near Shilo, firing at the terrorist who was armed with two knives.

Rabbi Bar-On was commended by senior officers in the IDF’s Yosh Division Command.
