In a response to the High Court of Justice, a Defense Ministry legal official reports that there is progress towards the removal of unauthorized outposts located throughout Yehuda and Shomron. He reported that five such outposts will soon be closed down voluntarily in a agreement reached with settlement officials.

Government officials have been meeting with representatives of the Yesha Settlement Council in the hope of reaching an understanding regarding at least some of the outposts.
