Cement Company Dumps Concrete All Over Jerusalem Roadway In Protest [VIDEO & PHOTOS]

(PHOTOS IN EXTENDED ARTICLE)

Workers from the Nesher Cement Company in northern Israel protested by the entrance to Jerusalem from the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway on Sunday morning, blocking traffic in the area of the Chords Bridge. The angry workers were protesting against giving cement contracts to Turkey, a move that would severely hurt the cement industry.

The angry protestors also question how Israel can give Turkey the contracts when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has come out so strongly against Israel.

The protest led to considerable traffic delays in the busy area during the Sunday morning rush hour.

  1. Disgusting behaviour from a leading building material supply company. What about the damage it will cause the drains in the area and vehicles that get it stuck all over their cars?
I hape they get a fine that hurts. Enough to build a new park in Meah shearim

  2. Just wondering who’ll be beaten up over this by the police thugs, as I’m pretty sure that a lot of people missed their flights / hospital or doctor appointements

  3. Where are all those who condemn road-blockers? “Selfish parasites,” and all the other respectful phrases. Oh, those are only reserved for frum Jews or yeshiva students? Anyone else — I guess its understandable if they block ambulances, hinder other people from getting to work or school.
