Interior Minister Aryeh Deri on Thursday, 14 Kislev, signed an order prohibiting Hamas official Muhmad Fawzi Suleiman Arnout from leaving the country.

According to the intelligence material presented to Minister Deri, he was a senior Hamas activist for many years, whose trips abroad were used to promote terrorist activity.

Minister Deri was convinced that Arnout’s departure from the country was liable to cause serious damage to state security, and therefore forbade his departure. The order is valid for six months.
