In the accompanying video, an elderly woman was attacked and knocked to the ground as muggers made off with her purse while she is left lying in the street.

The attack occurred last week during the early afternoon hours in Kfar Sava, with police reporting the woman is in her 70s and she was targeted on Anielewicz Street.

In an initial investigation it became clear that three suspects had robbed the woman and made off with her bag. The woman, a Kfar Saba resident, was injured in the face and hand after being attacked and thrown to the ground, resulting in many bruises. She was transported to Meir Hospital in the city.

Upon receiving the complaint, police immediately began searching for the perpetrators. Two of them were apprehended a short time later. The two suspects whom were apprehended are 16 and 17-years-old and are from Netanya. The probe continued and the third suspect was apprehended as well, another 17-year-old Netanya resident.
