While Prime Minister Ehud Olmert signals a willingness to enter into negotiations with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, IDF intelligence reports Hizbullah continues to fortify itself compliments of Iran and Syria.

A senior IDF officer made his remarks at a session of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on Tuesday, adding the military is still on alert for any attempt to carry out a revenge attack for the car bomb attack that claimed the life of senior Hizbullah commander Imad Mughniyeh.
