Three Arab women were arrested near the Shomron community of Har Bracha with knives. They were taken into custody. A fourth woman fled. The suspects in custody stated that they had knives for farming work.

15:00:

The remains of a rocket fired from Gaza into Sderot during the visit of US President Barak Obama was found in a Sderot daycare center. Bomb technicians were summoned to remove it from the area.

17:55:

Rock-throwing attacks during the past hour in the Beit Omer, Beit Anoun, el-Aroub, Hussan Bypass Rd. and Route 55 regions. An Israeli Arab motorist was lightly injured in an attack on the Hussan Bypass Road.

19:00:

An IDF court has convicted PA security officer Waal al-Araja, from the Halhul area, of the September 2010 murder of Asher Palmer and his infant son Yonatan HY”D. They were killed in a fatal accident that resulted from stone-throwing attacks by the defendant.

19:38:

Two Kassam rockets launched from Gaza land in the Eshkol Regional Council area. No injuries being reported.

19:39:

An IDF soldier was struck in his head with a rock hurled by Arabs in Shomron near Yitzhar. His injury is being described as light.

19:50:

A mortar shell landed in the Golan Heights. There are no immediate reports of injuries.

19:51:

A chareidi youth was burned during a barbeque on Haganah Street in Tzfas. He clothing caught fire. He was treated by Ichud Hatzalah EMTs who said “by a miracle he was only moderately injured”. He was transported to Ziv Hospital in Tzfas.

Opposition leader MK Shelly Yacimovich explains that over one half of the nation’s workforce earns less than 5,500 NIS monthly and this does not include those classified as “poor”.

While recalcitrant husband Shai Cohen remains at large, police have announced the guards from the Nachshon Unit who failed to prevent his escape will be removed from duty along with a number of commanders, all being held accountable for the mishap.

Light weapons fire from Syria into the Golan Heights in Tel Chezka area. No reports of injuries or damage.
