Simple solution: don’t go into Arab grocery stores. Anywhere.
The expression “an Israeli man” (or just “Israeli,” or “citizen”) in reports like these often refers to an Arab citizen. Arabs from Jerusalem visit those areas regularly and the locals take them for Jews and act “accordingly.”
