Minister of Agriculture (Bayit Yehudi) Uri Ariel on Sunday, threatened he would pull his Ichud Leumi faction from Bayit Yehudi and run independently in the next Knesset election.

Ariel was speaking with KAN Reshet Bet News, explaining, “We have long asked Minister Bennet to get a positive answer to continue as it was so far, because it was a success.” But he added, because of the lack of response, that “we certainly do not mean that someone will pull us by the nose in the last second.”

Ariel explains that there are matters Bennet was supposed to respond to regarding the parties running together in the next election, but Bennet has remained silent to date. Now, Ariel is threatening if he does not receive a response to the questions asked, he will pull his faction out and run independently in the next election.
