In a most out of character move, outgoing Minister of Defense, Avigdor Lieberman, on Sunday morning 10 Kislev, visited HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita in his home. Many are asking what he did at the Gadol’s home and why he went.
It is reported the Lieberman wrote a letter in a Sefer Torah which his son is completing.

The reason given doesn’t sound correct; a mechallel Shabbos cannot write a letter in a Torah.
More likely he came for a brocha. Even a sinner can be given a blessing to repent.
