Following the reported ceasefire with Hamas, hundreds of residents of Sderot, an Israeli town close to the border that has been bombarded with rocket fire, took to the streets to protest.
The scene in Gaza was the exact opposite, as hundreds took to the streets to celebrate in towns across the strip, excited that the terrorists had brought “the Zionist enemy to it’s knees”.
The ceasefire began after a 25-hour period that saw over 460 rockets fired at Israeli communities near the border with Gaza.
Protesters were blocking roads and burning tires, with some chanting, “Bibi go home,” using a nickname for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
For the most part, the protest was peaceful, but there were a few instances where protesters clashed with the police.
Police said they were working to restore order. “We are working to allow freedom of expression and lawful protest but not disturbances of public order, violence towards policemen and civilians and riots on major roads.”
Israeli TV outlet, Hadashot TV news, said that some southern residents planned further demonstrations and road blockages in Tel Aviv on Wednesday to protest the truce.

If only one of those Hamas animals accidentally detonated his bomb in the middle of that parade, it would rid us of many problems.
