On Thursday morning, Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman arrived at the home of Rosh Yeshiva and head of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah for Degel Hatorah, Hagaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein in Bnei Brak on a special mission.

The mission came from the Gerrer Rebbe and was an attempt to close the cracks that have developed between Agudas Yisroel and Degel Hatorah on the political front now that the tempestuous election campaigns in Jerusalem are over.

Other topics that were discussed was the mutual support of Jerusalem Mayoral candidate Moshe Lion and the Conscription Law.
