On the occasion of the Iranian New Year, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni sent a message to residents of Iran, telling them “your leadership is causing you damage”.

Livni conducted a special interview which was conducted in Persian, part of an ongoing media campaign launched by the Foreign Ministry, seeking to influence the Iranian people towards seeking new leadership.

“I do not believe the Iranian people wish to be the enemy of the international community,” she stated.
