B’chasdei Hashem, badly needed rainfall has arrived and during the night of 27 Marcheshvan, Sunday to Monday, as there were scattered showers, thunder and lightning storms in areas, including Yerushalayim. We daven to HKBH that the rain predicted for the coming days will be לברכה, and not chas v’sholom לקללה.
The rain began in northern Israel, the Galil and Golan Heights on Sunday, and began spreading to Haifa and more southern areas. Temperatures dropped into the 50s (Fahrenheit) and clouds moved in, bringing wind gusts and the rain.
Temperatures continued dropping on Monday, and intermittent rainfall is expected in some cities during the day, amid partly cloudy skies. Rainfall is expected in the coming days in Yerushalayim and other cities, up to and including Shabbos.
The heaviest rainfall is expected on Tuesday, with temperatures maxing out at 63F in the capital.
