Hundreds of residents of N’vei Tzuf and neighboring communities in the Binyamin Regional Council, took to the streets on motzei Shabbos, protesting what they call the deterioration of security in the area, protesting on Route 465, as well as blocking the entrance to a neighboring Arab village, Dir Mishaal. There has been a worrisome increase in attacks against Jewish motorists in the areas, attacks including firebombs, IEDs, and rocks.
The residents explain that the Arabs are taking advantage of this being olive harvest season, as they throw their deadly devices at Jews while harvesting the produce from trees in fields along the route.
Honenu reports one minor was arrested during the protest and is being represented by the organization.
