Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Thursday, 23 Marcheshvan, approved moving ahead with the construction of a new residential building in the Jewish area of Hebron, a building project that was placed on hold for years due to legal complications.

Being that the location is in the marketplace, the building will be atop of the stores below, which will be preserved.

The cabinet a number of weeks ago, in October 2018, approved NIS 22 million for the expansion of the Jewish community in Hebron, including construction of 31 housing units, kindergartens and public areas.
