The father and family of 28-year-old Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel HY”D is demanding to know why the terrorist who perpetrated the heinous act has still not been apprehended, pointing a finger of blame at Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
Mr. Rafi Levengrond explained to Ynet that security officials paid a shiva visit and have been in touch in the beginning, but know he is left in the dark, without being contacted by anyone. He also wants to know why the home of the terrorist is still standing and why it wasn’t razed. Mr. Levengrond explains to Ynet that Lieberman has the authority to order the demolition of the home, and if he doesn’t, perhaps it is time to bring someone new into the position.
He is quoted adding the homes of an additional 102 terrorists who perpetrated more serious attacks are still standing as well, questioning the government policy. He added that he is aware that an accomplice was taken into custody, as clearly there are people assisting the terrorist, who is still at large, the subject of a continuing IDF manhunt.
The attack occurred in a business in the Barkan Industrial Park in Shomron on 29 Marcheshvan. In addition to Kim, the terrorist also murdered 35-year-old Ziv Hajbi HY”D. they were both bound and shot at close range.
To mark the shloshim, the family is planning a large march to Barkan in the hope of drawing attention to the plight of the case.
