An 18-year-old chareidi male was struck by a vehicle on Kanfei Nesharim Street in the Givat Shaul area of Yerushalayim early Wednesday morning. His condition is listed a moderate-to-serious. MDA reports the call arrived at 4:06AM, for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Paramedics treated him and transported him to the trauma unit of Shaare Zedek Hospital.
In another incident during the night, a young driver on the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway near Telshe Stone was instructed to pull over by police, but he ignored this and continued. A chase resulted, and he drove all the way to Yerushalayim and was apprehended on Meah Shearim Street after crashing into a number of parked vehicles.
The driver fled, and police are searching for him. There are no reports of injuries.

The article states “… he drove all the way to Yerushalayim and was apprehended on Meah Shearim Street”.
Then your correspondent writes “The driver fled, and police are searching for him.”
So was he apprehended or is he being sought? Can we please have writers who are educated and know how to write? Thank you.
