“Hashem should help that this Rasha should have a Mapala Gedolah (big downfall).”
These were the words HaGaoon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky said last year about Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav, after he ordered the expulsion of a Yeshiva in a despicable fashion described by officials as “Kristallnacht”. (See video below)
The prediction came true on Tuesday night, when results came in announcing that Yahav appeared to be losing his reelection bid to Einat Kalish-Rotem. Kalisch garnered nearly 60% of votes in the exit polls, while Yahav won 35% of votes. Yahav has been the mayor of Haifa for 15 years.
Official results are not expected until Wednesday.
Einat Kalish-Rotem, is the Labor party candidate, who is backed by Degel Hatorah and Shas as well.
She has now become the first female mayor of one of the nation’s major cities. Voter turnout in the city was 45.37%.

I dont understand this whole piece of news. THERE ARE NO RESULTS YET. You are posting a nitzachon news based on exit polls??? Wait it out another few hours until the true results come in. Whats the rush?
Wow, guessing a coin toss. I think I can compute the odds on that.
What are the odds that if he was wrong, we never would have seen an article about that?
Sounds more like a tefillah than a “prediction”.
a prediction sounds remarkably close to prophecy; you cannot mean that I hope.
