A Jerusalem Israel Police spokesman announced that 13 suspects have been taken into custody, all from eastern Jerusalem, all suspected in playing a role in illegal weapons sales, sales of automatic weapons including Karl Gustav and M16 assault rifles.

Police during the night from Sunday to Monday, 19 to 20 Marcheshvan, raided the homes of the suspects, who range in age from 20s to their 30s, including the main player in the weapons’ ring, as well as confiscating a M16 rifle from his home.

The suspects are to be arraigned and police will request the court order their remand without bail pending the outcome of their trials.
