To their dismay, Har Habayis activists visiting the Jordanian Embassy in Israel did not succeed getting past Israeli security, seeking to enter and present a letter to the Jordanian Ambassador to Israel, asking Jordan to leave the country. Speaking to the border policeman at the security check, they explained “We don’t want them here so we wish to ask them to leave”.

They explained that they are not seeking to cause a stir, but wish to deliver their letter, requesting Jordan to leave Israel, to stop interfering in Har Habayis matters.

In a videoed event, we see their effort, albeit unsuccessful, escorted out of the building with their flowers and letter. The border policeman who contacted his superior was told to escort them to the lobby and not permit them in.

The two were respectful and obeyed instructions, going downstairs with the border policeman without incident.
