Yeshiva Bochur Deemed Not Responsible for Stabbing Friend Due to Psychotic State

A court ruled on Sunday, 12 Marcheshvan, that the chareidi yeshiva bochur from Modi’in Illit who stabbed a fellow bochur during an argument some two months ago, in Yeshivas Knesset HaGedolah, is not being held responsible for his actions due to his mental state at the time.

Justice Ami Kovo of the Central Regional District Court ruled that since the defendant is not responsible for his actions at the time, and with the agreement of the parties involved, the defendant is found not guilty.

The medical experts ruled he was in a psychotic state at the time of the argument, which led to the stabbing, which left the victim in serious condition. The court has ruled the defendant will be admitted to a psychiatric facility. He was injured in major organs from the multiple stab wounds, including a lung, kidney and liver.

After the court read the report prepared by a psychiatrist, the decision was made to dismiss the charges and have the defendant admitted to a psychiatric institution.

  1. Now, will all the awful people who were so quick to vilify an innocent boy apologize for the chillul Hashem they made? Does anyone else remember how quickly everyone clucked at how terrible yeshiva bochurim are today; how they can;t believe these people call themselves bnei torah. You can all eat your hat (or baseball cap, ch”v it should be a black fedora like those yeshiva bochur thugs).
