Israel Air Force Commander Major-General Eliezer Shkedy announced on Wednesday that the investigation surrounding reports of cancerous materials in F16i fighter planes continues.

As a result, the planes are grounded but the commander stated that in the event of operational need, the planes will take off as required, adding he personally would have no hesitation flying himself if the security situation so demands.
