Tens of thousands of mispallalim are expected to begin coming to Kever Rochel beginning Thursday night, since this year, the yahrzeit, 11 Marcheshvan, falls on Shabbos.

Tens of thousands of people will be heading to the holy site, located in PA (Palestinian Authority) occupied Beit Lechem. Persons seeking information may call the Kever Rochel line, *8631 for information. Persons who cannot get to the holy site may call the number and submit a name for tefilos. The Egged information number is *2800.

Egged is significantly stepping up service to and from the site, and persons are advised not to try to get to the site with a private vehicle, for only public transportation will be permitted access over the weekend.

A larger force of border police and other units will be providing protection over the yahrzeit weekend, and MDA reports emergency medical personnel will remain on site until Sunday.
