An Arab resident of PA (Palestine Authority) occupied Beit Lechem climbed through a window of an apartment in Maale Adumim, and then bound and gagged an 18-year-old woman, assaulted her, and robbed the home of jewelry and other valuables.

According to a police report, the 56-year-old assailant broke into the home at about 11:00AM Tuesday morning, 1 Rosh Chodesh Marcheshvan, citing the apartment is located on the second floor.

The attacker moved around the apartment for about 20 minutes, during which time he took items of value.

When the victim realized he left, she managed to free herself and immediately phoned police and explained what took place. She provided police with a description. The assailant was taken into custody while still in the neighborhood.

He had the items he stole from the young lady in his possession, as well as the shears he used to threaten her, her identification card, and other property.

He was arraigned on Wednesday and remains in custody.
