Hizbullah Leader Vows to Wipe Out Israel

nasrallah1.gif(Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel) During his address on Monday, marking 40 days since the fatal car bomb attack that claimed the life of his deputy, Imad Mughniyeh, Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah vowed to wipe Israel off the map.

During the taped address, the terror leader stated “yes”, Israel can and will be wiped out, emphasizing the car bomb attack marked the “beginning of Israel’s end”.

Hizbullah insists Israeli agents were responsible for the attack. Israel has not accepted responsibility for the attack.

Since the fatal car bomb attack in Syria, Nasrallah has remained underground; apparently fearing the long arm of Israeli justice may indeed reach him.

  1. Hinei lo yonum velo yishon shomer yisroel!
we should all be mispalel, that no yid should be harmed by any evil whatever his name or organization.

  2. Since your audience is, after all, the Yeshiva World, I don’t think there would be much misunderstanding if you would title the article:
“Hizbullah Leaders Voews to Wipe Out [the Enemies of] Israel”, in accordance with long-established practice. And may that version indeed be mekuyum!

  3. We are responding – by learning Torah and davening with kevana and tears. There is no way such evil can find expression in His world.

  4. ALL READERS OF YESHIVA WORLD, AND OF COUSE ANY JEW, OR ANY JEW THAT LEARNS IN A YESHIVA, VOWS TO WIPE OUT TERRORIST HIZBULLAH LEADER HASSAN NASRALLAH AND ALL ENEMIES OF THE JEWS WHO PLAN TO HARM THE JEWISH CHIRDREN OF HASHEM!!! HASSAN NASRALLAH IS 100% PERCENT PART OF AMALEIK, IT IS A MITZVAH TO WIPE OUT ANY AMALAKI, EXPECILY IN THE MONTH OF ADDAR, AND IF I AM NOT MISTAKING I THINK THAT THIS COMMANMENT APPLIES EVEN TODAY,

BUT OF COURSE IT IS AGAINST THE GEDOLIM TO DO ANY SORT OF HARM TO ANY ARAB, OR FOR THAT MATTER ANY JEW HATTER, WHICH WILL ONLY CAUSE A MAJOR CHILLUL HASHEM, WHICH OF COURSE IS A MAJOR AVARIA, AND WILL ONLY ENCOURSE JEW-HATERS TO, CHAS-VESHOLAM TO CONTINUE, TO CONTINUE TO DO MUCH MORE HARM TO THE JEWISH NATION OF KLAL YISROEL, [CHAS-VESHALOM]AND ONLY WILL ALSO ONLY, CAUSE OTHER NATIONS AROUND THE WORLD TO BE AGAINST THE JEWS[CHAS-VESHOLAM]

TO GREET MOSHIACH TODAY, IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL!!!

  5. First off..I think the cartoon is very funny. It mocks a man who is laden with evil and hate.

Second..I think it is very nice that some writers expressed their ruchniyisdika values and mentioned that we must daven and learn. All true. Very true! However, we must do our part and fight! Physically, as humans with capabilities, we must destroy this low life! Axtion is required. Do you recall what Reb Menachem Zembas’ psak was in the Warsaw Ghetto? ” Fight” he said.

  6. #2, while his threat is certainly a terrible one since his threat, by extension if not by definition includes the Jews of Eretz Yisrael, when the gemara says Sonieihem shel Yisrael, it is referring to the enemies of the ENTIRE Jewish people/Jewish Nation, not the State of Israel (nor limited to the Jews who live therein).

People might misunderstand that the editors consider the State of Israel to be equivalent to the Jewish nation (which is, of course, very much not the case).

Therefore, I think it would be inaccurate and inappropriate to use such a title, unfortunately.

  7. Excuse me, idels #4, but such evil against Jews as Hassan Nasrallah, and worse, can and has already found expression in this world. As recently as 1939-1945… Is this really news to you?? Respectfully, shmuel alef.

  8. Big deal. The arabs have been saying this for 60 years and we are still here. We fought them in 2006 and while our leadership was not what it should have been all of the fighting was in Lebanon not in Israel. Sooner or later we will fight them again with a decent set of generals in Army HQ.

  9. To #7 –
Wrong. We musn’t fight physicaly. If you noticed, when Haman/Achashveirosh decreed to kill the Jews, we fasted and davened to HaShem. It was only on Chanukah when the decree was against Torah & Mitzvos that we fought physicaly.
Not to say that if they attack us we shouldn’t attack them or better yet launch a preemptive operation to prevent an attack. But our initial reaction to that fool’s message should be one of Tefillah & Kavei El HaShem…

  10. The world is in Hashem’s hands, not our own. We have been sent out in golus. If Hashem wants there to be a goyishe political structure governing the land of our fathers, He will see that this happens. While some disagreed, Many Torah giants have told us that the very idea of a Jewish run medina is ossur. If they are right, this medina, whether religious or not, will fall before Moshiach comes.

We need to fight. Not with guns, missiles and bombs, but with learning Torah, and following the halachos of our Torah.

Before 1948, the vast majority of gedolai Yisroel held the same shita we now call the “Satmar” shita, and were totally opposed to having any Jewish government before Moshiach comes.

When the medina was a fait accompli, many rabbis “switched sides” and supported the memshala, saying that “better a Jewish Medina with Torah, then one totally devoid of Torah.”

Is it possible that they were/are mistaken? Is it at all possible that the other rabbonim and gedolim who said there is no way to kasher the medina, and we must not support it in any way, were/are right?

When I was in Beis Medrash, I asked my rosh yeshiva what he thought about the machlokes about the State of Israel. My rosh yeshiva, of a major Litvish yeshiva told me, “Read the Satmar rov’s VaYoel Moshe.
Learn it. Try to shlug it up. You won’t be able to without ridiculous statements. You will find the Satmar Rov is right, 100% right!”

I then challenged him, a bit lacking in kovod maybe, “Then, Rosh Yeshiva, how is it that you are not outspoken on the matter, and so many people have no idea how you feel?”

His answer shocked me. He replied, “Avrohom, I wish I could be as publicly outspoken as the Satmar Rov is. But the major supporters of this yeshiva would probably withhold their donations and support if I came out openly in opposition to Israel. So, I remain silent. I know I am wrong to be silent, but I do not have the courage to risk the survival of this yeshiva. The Satmar Rov is unique. He is the godol hador both in learning, as well as in yiras shomayim and perfect bitochon. I daven every day that I grow to have his midos.”

To tell the truth, it was his words that made me go and meet the Satmar Rov, and become a talmid in his yeshiva.

There I learned what it was to have ahavas yisroel. I was accepted, with all knowing I came from a Litvishe yeshiva. Nobody thought less of me. What was suprising to me, is that I was not a superstar there in learning. From being close to the top of the litvishe yeshiva, I, with my former prejudices, thought I would shine in learning in a Chassidishe yeshiva. Oooops, I was wrong. Some Chassidishe Yeshivas may be like this, ,this one was not. I was originally placed, after a tough farher, in the 3rd shiu from the top, and had to work, very hard to make it back up to the top. I discovered a teefkeit in learning, that I never believed existed in a Chassidishe yeshiva. But, the most important surprise, was that not a single person, bochur, rov, baal habayis, no one at all put down the yeshivish/litvishe world.

Yes, I heard bad things against “Zionism” and against the original Zionists, but every rov reminded us that the zionists of today were doing what they thouht was right, since many rebbonim told them it was right, and that while we should speak out again ZionISM, we should not put the people down.

The shitas today are all over the place. I do not consider myself ryui to even voice an opinion.

Today, there are those who believe the medina must fall, as its very existance is meakev hageula.
I withhold my commitment to that opinion.
BUT ….. Is it at least a possibility that those who believe the medina must fall before bias hamoshiach are correct? Can we not accept that they MAY be right?

I am not Mosheach, and will not take sides, but I do give those politically incorrect opinions the respect due a Torah shita, and keep wondering if what we need to daven for are not military victories, which may go against the 3 shavuos, but rather, that we fast, give tzdaka, and daven that we lose as few Jewish lives as possible during this fall IF this is truly what Hashem wants.

I know this is not a “feel good” shita. It makes us uncomfortable to hold this way. It makes us feel disrespectful to those who gave their lives for the medina. But, maybe it still is true, whether we like it or not.

When I read articles like the one above, my prayers today are, “Hashem, Creator of the Universe, may it be Your will that Your will be fulfilled with the least loss of human lives. I do God, to spare as many of our fellow Jews’ lives (and all human lives) as possible. If having this medina is against Your will, Hashem, remember that today’s “zionists” do not understand that, and believe they are correct. They are tinokem shenishbeu. Please, Hashem, spare each of their lives, even those in the tzahal who may be violating Your will in regards to the 3 shavuos.
“Each and every soul: man, woman and child is precious, Hashem. PLEASE spare their lives.”

So, if it is Hizbollah’s job to do the will of Hashem, may it be done with as little loss of life as possible.

  11. #15, No one paskened that they were oveir on their shevuah, and, further, as we all know from grade school, two wrongs don’t make a right, so just b/c they MAY have violated their’s does not give us the right to violate ours.

Incidentally, Zionism pre-dates WW-II, so the years 1945 and 1948 don’t seem to be relevant.

Also, while the shevuos are most likely not doche pikuach nefesh, it’s quite a stretch to say that founding the State of Israel in 1948 was a matter of sakanas nifashos when Jews could have moved anywhere, even to Eretz Yisrael, by then, and had trouble doing so during the war, in part, precisely because the Zionists lobbied against allowing Jews to escape anywhere but Palestine, preferring that their fellow Jews be murdered in Europe rather than possibly weaken their State by having Jews escape elsewhere.
