Teachers and kindergarten teachers arrived on Tuesday morning Isru Chag Simchas Torah at the Government Campus in Tel Aviv and called on the Minister of Education Naftali Bennet to cancel the harmful reforms, and to reduce wage gaps between teachers, to reduce the number of students in the class and the number of contract workers in the system.

Protest leaders explained, “Teachers in Israel are fed up with campaigns by the Histadrut National Labor Federation and the teachers’ union. The status of teaching staff has never been so low, wage gaps are growing from year to year, and pensioners are pushed into the corner. We are demonstrating this morning to the Education Minister to reduce the gaps and to cancel the failed reforms.”
