Dozens of police officers and volunteers from United Hatzalah conducted a wide-scale search in the Meah Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem for a young boy who had gone missing on Friday morning. The boy, aged eight, comes from a Chabad family and was not seen since early Friday morning. The searches carried on throughout the night and included a United Hatzalah ambulance driving up and down streets in the Chareidi neighborhood on Shabbos asking residents for the help in locating the missing boy. The announcements were made with the permission of numerous Rabbonim in the community.
Hundreds of residents assisted in the search. Baruch Hashem, the boy was found by security staff at the Central Bus Station and then turned over to the police. The boy had tried to enter the bus station for reasons that are still unclear.
