On Wednesday night, the Ushpizin being Yosef HaTzaddik, 1,450 mispallalim were permitted to visit Kever Yosef in PA (Palestine Authority) occupied Shechem after coordinating the visit with the IDF. Security for the event was provided by the IDF, border police and Israel Police.

As they entered the complex, security forces encountered violence from PA residents. Rocks, bottles and firebombs were among the items hurled at security forces, compelling the use of non-lethal riot-control weaponry to restore order.

B’chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries among security forces or mispallalim.
