ISRAEL – 13:30 HOURS: Security forces earlier on Tuesday moved to heightened alert status in the Sharon/Greater Tel Aviv region following intelligence community reports of a planned terror attack.

Security forces earlier stopped and questioned a female, believed to have possibly been related to the terror alert, but later announced their suspicions were unfounded.

At present, the terror alert continues as police step-up vehicular inspections at entrance points to the region, random inspections and other measures.
