Two Jewish men were detained on Har Habayis on Tuesday morning, the first day of Chol Hamoed, for singing Hatikvah on the holy site. Police warned them to stop or be detained, and they chose the latter.
They explained they were singing Hatikvah in memory of recent terror victim Ari Fuld HY”D.
It should be noted that Gedolei Yisrael throughout the generations along with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, have prohibited visiting Har Habayis as there is an Issur Kares.

who needs this?
i wonder how singing some irreligious folk song while being oiver an issur kareis does any thing to perpetuate ari fulds memory. saying some tehilim, learning some mishnayos or just making a bracha in sukka would be so much simpler and accomplish much more.
