An Israeli woman has expressed her public gratitude to terror victim Ari Fuld HY”D for saving her life, despite his mortal state from a stab wound that would prove fatal just moments later.
As reported on YWN, Ari was seen on video jumping up and giving chase to his Palestinian attacker, shooting and neutralizing him along with another civilian.
Ari’s brother Hillel shared the attached photo on twitter, showing a sign hung by a female employee at the falafel store in Gush Junction Shopping Center, thanking Ari for saving her life.
After the Palestinian terrorist stabbed my brother Ari, he headed for his next victim, a woman who served him falafel just a minute before. Ari, who was basically dead, would have none of it. He chased him 60 meters, jumped over a wall and shot him. The sign on the falafel store: pic.twitter.com/epTSejqKsX

Hila Peretz told Israel’s 10 News that she had served the terrorist a falafel platter and observed that he sat on a railing outside the shop for about 45 minutes, before pulling out a knife and stabbing the 45-year-old father of 4.
She said the terrorist then began running toward her, brandishing the knife. She said she started running away from him shouting “terrorist.”
“I started running down the stairs but he jumped to try to get in front of me. The man that was killed really saved my life,” she said of Fuld. “He’s not just a hero. He gave his life for me.”
I justed attended a memorial for Ari in Efrat. Rabbi Riskin said that Ari may survived had he not pursued the terrorist after being stabbed, but for Ari there was no question: he had to save other people’s lives no matter what.
