United Hatzalah officials report the organization stands ready to provide an immediate response to medical emergencies in Uman, at the tziyun of Rav Nachman of Breslov ZT”L and the surrounding area. EMS personnel will be on hand from erev Rosh Hashanah, including the large gathering on erev yomtov for worldwide Tikkun Klalli, which is aired in real time via internet streaming to communities worldwide, as well as being broadcast in Uman to streets near the tziyun, and on Israeli and foreign media.

Laser Heyman, deputy director of United Hatzalah, said: “At the behest or organizers, we are preparing to secure our status. Hundreds of medical teams of United Hatzalah (UH) in Uman, in cooperation with the UH clinic, located at the entrance to the central Kloiz center of Ichud Breslov in Uman, will ensure the medical status.”

The clinic will be manned by doctors, paramedics and EMTs.

Hillel Cohen, Director of the Ukraine Region of UH, said: “In any medical emergency in Uman and the Ukraine it is recommended to call immediately 063-800-1221, a local number in Ukraine and the emergency center will dispatch the nearest vehicles to the location of the incident. The emergency phone center will operate on Rosh Hashanah in line with the instructions set forth by the rabbonim of the EMS organization.
