Israel Electric Company officials announced on Thursday that in line with the policy of the utility company and the Ministry of Energy, no clients will be cut during the Tishrei Yomim Tovim. That means persons owning money; persons who may have received notices that service will be terminated do not have to worry beginning on Thursday, 26 Tishrei until the end of Simchas Torah.

The policy provides some additional breathing space for many, families who while enjoying the special Yomim Tovim, live the reality of the additional financial hardships that accompany Tishrei.
