Once again a Syrian shell landed in Israel, with the latest incident occurring Wednesday morning 17 Adar 5773. The shell which did not explode impacted near the Golan Heights community of Alonei HaBashan, with authorities reporting it appears to have been a stray for the ongoing civil war in Syria.

Two area residents reported seeing clouds of smoke from the impact and authorities were summoned, locating the unexploded shell.
