According to data released last week by the Israel Security Agency (ISA/Shin Bet), there was a 15% increase in attacks in July 2018 as compared to June 2018, citing there were 220 attack in the month of June as compared to 255 in July.

There were eleven attacks in Yerushalayim, and two fatalities in attacks during the month. IDF soldier First-Sgt. Aviv Levy HY”D was targeted by Gaza sniper fire and a civilian, Yatom Ovadia HY”D, of Yishuv Adam, who was stabbed to death by a lone terrorist.

Close to two-thirds of the attacks recorded in July involved firebombs. It is pointed out the ISA data does not include rock-throwing attacks, which unfortunately occur daily in areas of Yehuda and Shomron.
