Senior PA (Palestinian Authority) official Jibril Rajoub is using the recent increase in Arab violence and attacks against Israeli civilians and security personnel throughout Yehuda, Shomron and eastern Yerushalayim to promote his image as a peace-maker.

The former head of Yasser Arafat’s Preventative Security Force has announced that he will not permit’s Israel’s right-wing to pull the PA into “another round of bloodshed”, responding to remarks from some senior military officials and intelligence community experts as stating the ongoing increase in violent attacks represents the beginning of the third intifada.
