HaRav HaChossid Avraham Kalish Z”L, a noted Dushinsky chossid, was niftar on Monday, 9 Elul, in Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. The niftar was taken to the hospital on erev Shabo after suffering a cardiac incident, collapsing at the entrance of the hospital and later admitted in critical condition. He was 67-years-old.

Just last Thursday, Rav Kalish participated in the ‘השלם זה הבנין’ Conference towards the competition of the new Dushinsky Beis Medrash in Ashdod. He pledged a sum every month towards completion of the building.

BeChadrei Chareidim reports the niftar was the Baal Tokeah in the beis medrash of the Rebbe of Narol Shlita, and he was close to the elder chassidim of the previous rebbe. The niftar was a son-in-law of HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevi Wosner ZT”L.

The levaya was held on Monday from his home on Baal Shem Tov Street via the Dushinsky Beis Medrash, to Naarel and to the Bnei Brak cemetery for kvura.
